The LOFAR-UK compute facility is an initiative supported by STFC to allow LOFAR-UK users to have access to the software and computing power needed to reduce data taken with the ILT.

STFC has supported hardware and storage upgrades on the University of Hertfordshire HPC facility in return for guaranteed access for LOFAR-UK users. This is probably most useful for people wanting to reduce standard imaging-mode data, for which the storage and computing power requirements are very significant.
